MY VERDICT: Louane was decked out in Jean Paul Gaultier when she hit the red carpet at the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris, France to celebrate her nomination for Best Female Newcomer at the César Film Awards. The 18-year-old “La Famille Bélier” actress wore a v-neck chocolate reptilian belted swing dress from Gaultier’s Spring/Summer 2015 Haute Couture collection.
The dress is very pretty–I especially like the plunging sides that match the front. I know it was raining so I understand why Louane’s hair is a bit unkempt, but I feel like the hairstyle, safe champagne gold Christian Louboutin “Fifi” pumps and delicate earrings she wore were still too sweet for such an edgy dress. Sleeker hair and darker heels would have been more ideal.
